We know de English! They claimed us as a British Crown Colony way back in 1717. However we happy to say dat da Bahamas finally become sovereign on July 10th, 1973, when we gained complete independence from Great Britain. Da British like to "keep a stiff upper lip", but we more happy to show our emotions in da sunny islands!
Although dey say de like de winter hiking, de Queenie & her Prince look pretty stiff & regal whenever we be seein' dem. Don't think they be much good at de winter sports... Maybe dey just plannin' to wave and hand out de medals? Looks like de queen already have lotsa bling and de Prince looks plenty biggety already with dat chest full of medals.

Wow! It seems dis regal pair been spyin' on de Jamaican team. Dey not so stiff in dis new photo. They be following a new trainin' regimen dat includes da tokin' - now dey be seein' visions of glory for the Olympics (we be guessin' dat they will only stay hazy visons, not actual victories). Dey also ditched da crowns and got themselves some new golden acorn caps. Dey be jammin now too!
