Bahama Mama & Martini Mon

We need to be payin' special attention to dese hopped up competitors.  Dey have some "magic beans" which dey claim to be some type a special coffee.  However de Olympic Committee is suspicious and so are WE.
Injecting the special "Atomic Beans"

Will these helmets be allowed in the competition?!?!
After some research, we discover dat the brain in the ancestors of the modern koala once filled the whole cranial cavity, but has become drastically reduced in the present species, a degeneration scientists suspect is an adaptation to a diet low in energy.  Good news for us!
Dese bears need lots of beans to keep dat little brain a'workin in dere PhD scientist jobs.  Dat be wearin' em out for sure!

Also find out dat the koala has a very low metabolic rate for a mammal and rests motionless for about 16 to 18 hours a day, sleeping most of that time.  Dat be REALLY good news for us!!  Dese bears probly be in bed when games start, just like dey sleep in late at campgrounds.

You snooze, you lose!

1-FEB-10 Update

Da sleepy bears decided to do some research and visited dat invigorating Swedish Team.  Da bears think dat da sauna and 'specially all dat cold snow look way too energetic.  Since dey have dat slow metabolic rate, dey decide dat a nice soak in de hot tub be better.  Nighty-night AB!  Dey look sleepy already, don't dey?
9-FEB-10 Update

Yep, dem bears be sleepin' again!  No worries 'bout dem on da big day!  Sweet dreams koalas!
